Yelli (Demeter)
In 2022, we met a fine group of young men from Yellikodige for the first time in the Chikmagalur region of India. We fondly remember them sitting in their cupping lab and explaining to us that they are determined to reverse climate change in the mountains of the Western Ghats by mobilizing young coffee farmers in the region and introducing more biodynamic farming methods. It sounds ambitious. However, the more time we spent with them, the more we believed that they could do it, and we wanted to be a part of their journey.

Yellikodige is an inspiration to us and we hope for other coffee roasteries too.
