BANANATEX® Bean Bag

Two brands, two different worlds – one shared vision: high-quality products with minimal footprint. The result? A plastic-free, reusable, and compostable coffee bag. This product marks the first application of Bananatex in the food packaging sector. ViCAFE and QWSTION are neighbors in the SBB Werkstadt and active members of the Made in Zürich Initiative (MiZI). The idea for the 100% plastic-free and compostable coffee bag originated two years ago during a regular meeting of the Sustainability Action Group, which ViCAFE initiated in collaboration with MiZI.
