At ViCAFE, sustainability is not just an empty concept – it is part of our DNA. At Mondul Coffee Estate in northern Tanzania, we purchase the entire harvest of a selected coffee field where innovative cultivation methods are implemented. As shown in our new film, we promote sustainable cultivation of coffee in Tanzania going far beyond coffee cultivation.
We show the importance of developing deep relationships with our producers. And we show what an espresso from the ViCAFE Espresso Bar has to do with reforestation of the jungle, with social commitment, economical use of resources, soccer – and with a homemade vegetable pesticide made from chili peppers.
