Description

Discover freshly roasted, seasonal specialty coffee every two months.

The ViCAFE Coffee Discovery Subscription delivers a 350g bag of limited-edition, freshly roasted coffee to your door. Sourced for its unique flavour, origin, and story, each small lot is specialty grade and roasted in Zurich. These exclusive coffees are the same ones featured on the second grinder in our espresso bars — now available through our seasonal coffee subscription.

Perfect for curious coffee lovers who want to explore fresh, small-batch coffee from around the world — without the effort.

Alemayehu Daniel and his eleven brothers produce this outstanding, dry-processed coffee on their family plantation in southern Ethiopia. The coffee has an intense fruitiness which allows it to shine as flat white or filter coffee.

Coffee Discovery Subscription

Miju coffee comes from twelve small farms owned by Alemayehu Daniel and his eleven brothers. It is located in the south of Ethiopia, in the Gedeb Zone (Yirgacheffe).

The family impressed us with their deep connection with nature and the careful cultivation of the trees, which deliberately avoids the use of any chemicals. Since summer 2017, Alemayehu Daniel and his eleven brothers have been solely responsible for the farm that their father Daniel Miju built up.

At 2050 meters above sea level, they attach great importance to quality by cultivating indigenous Ethiopian coffee varieties and drying the unwashed coffee for several weeks.
