Description

The 511-hectare plantation is located on the slopes of the Monduli Mountains in northern Tanzania. Both the volcanic soil and the climate at 1750 m above sea level provide ideal conditions for growing high-quality arabica. This innovative farm is one of the most modern and sustainable coffee producers in Tanzania and attaches great importance to equality. All employees, whether Maasai, Chaga or Arusha, field workers or managers, live and work together on the site and are part of the Mondul community.

Mondul Farm is located on the slopes of the Monduli Mountains in northern Tanzania. The volcanic soil and climate offer ideal conditions for growing high-quality Arabica beans.

Our coffee comes from two fields where no chemicals are used at all. The exemplary farm is one of the most modern and sustainable in Tanzania and attaches great importance to equality. All employees live and work together on the farm and are part of the Mondul community.

Together with ViFOUNDATION, the farm is also working on a reforestation project to allow the forest to grow back through the farm. More information can be found at vifoundation.ch
