We were overwhelmed by the warmth with which we were received by Alemayehu Daniel, his eleven brothers and their families. Since the summer of 2017, they have been solely responsible for managing the large farm that their father Daniel Miju had built years ago. Despite the hard work at 2050 m above sea level, they continue to focus on quality and use only organic fertilisers. The unwashed coffee is dried over several weeks and has an authentic taste with flavours that are typical of the region. Thanks to new coffee regulations, we can now purchase the coffee directly from Alemayehu’s farm.
