It all began in Eglisau, Kanton of Zürich.
In 2010, ViCAFE was founded as a sister company of Vivi Kola, the first Swiss Kola since 1938. From the get-go it has been our goal to bring you high-quality coffee through easy-going, friendly service. We guarantee the quality of our products and transparency along the value chain through regular visits to our partner farms, as well as quality controls in the cultivating countries, in the roastery and in our espresso bars.
We strive towards nurturing long-term, personal business relationships, offer purchase guarantees and negotiate the green coffee price directly with the producers. We also ensure fairness along the entire value chain and put equal importance on social and ecological sustainability.
A good cup of coffee is not the result of luck or chance. It’s the product of hard work and a meticulous attention to detail. Our rigorous roasting process happens at our roastery in Zurich Altstetten, where we develop an individual roasting profile for each green coffee.
The cup holds the truth. In order to meet the high demands of our ViCAFE customers, we place great importance on training our baristas. That being said, our talented baristas’ friendly natures come naturally!
